L'Abri Côtier is well named - The Coastal Shelter - being situated as it is in a relaxing corner of Brittany.  Quiet and sheltered, set back just 500m from a pretty sandy beach.  Access to the beach is easy on foot, bike or car and the charming village of Etables-sur-Mer with its weekly street market and range of small shops is also within easy walking distance.  From the campsite you will find many beautiful walks along the dramatic, well maintained coastal paths and through the countryside.  The sporting enthusiast will find plenty of opportunities in the immediate area including golf, tennis, sea fishing, horse riding both on the beach and in the countryside, sailing, sailboarding, scuba diving with instruction if required and of course the French national game of boules is practiced everywhere!  Too energetic?  Then why not treat yourself to a jacuzzi or simply relax on a recliner by the pool.

We are ideally situated for you to discover this beautiful, unspoilt coast with its abundance of small coves and sandy beaches, charming villages and lively street markets and to visit the famous Brittany chateaux. The superb Pink Granite Coast on one hand and the Mont St Michel on the other make interesting day trips and the beautiful traffic-free island of Bréhat is a short boat trip away. The taste of the sea in the wonderful fresh seafood, the famous local cider and delicious Breton pancakes are pleasures not to be missed!
